I don't think to young people being raised in today's society would
find much worse about a socialist society. The choices are no longer
there to go out and compete the way they should be in a good
capitalist society. Young people are told to go out and get a job,
not to go out and start a business. Most markets are already
controlled by giant corporations with the approval of the government.
Regulations and restrictions make it difficult for new competition to
enter the market. Just become a cog in the big corporate complex,
seems to be the message. Freedom of action for the individual is
already greatly limited. Couldn't be much worse in a socialist state,
except that then you would get health care.
