Default Koestler, Tycho, Kepler, and the orbit of Mars

thnaks to whoever suggested THE SLEEPWALKERS.
just the warped tale of the meticulous tyrant tycho and the impoverished genius
kepler is worth buying the book.
from the great writer of Darkness at noon. wonderful...
kelper realizing that the orbits were eliptical, based upon his study of Mars,
the most eliptical of all the planets, and kepler's gravity-inertia foundation
theories that allowed Newton to go from there...

Kepler" is probably still available at a reasonable price from Dover.

Probably almost impossible to find, but originally available in an
inexpensive paper edition, is Dreyer's "Tycho Brahe".
