As a fanboi of Velikofsky, it's not surprising that you feel
that way. For you and ol' Vel, it is preferable to imagine the
planet Venus careening around the solar system with it's only
purpose being to interfere with the events of men.

Perhaps there's more than one big bang to consider, and obviously many
secondary bangs. Of which BB this universe is on is anyone's guess.
