The PHML are cuming... er...coming...to a movie screen near you: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/cann...09/news/182229... Yes, once again we shall see those blue-eye-shadowed beauties take on the filthy lime Kool-Aid breathing alien hordes who are here to steal our organs. Well, it was a popular TV show. And it tapped into the British national sentiment that their nation made a contribution to world peace that went unheralded because it was dependent on their ability to keep secrets. So, even if the original TV show had camp elements that place it firmly in its time, it is quite reasonable that the British wish to conserve foreign exchange by entertaining themselves for a change instead of relying on such franchises as Star Wars and Star Trek... as well as adding their own unique cultural contribution to entertainment, just as the Japanese have done.
