i'm new to this group, and have very little experience with astronomy. was
hoping someone might be able to help with a recommendation... if i want to view stars with a 12-12.5 magnitude, what is the size binoculars i need (given that i'm not too greatly concerned about number of stars in my field of vision)? unfortunately, the only binoculars i ever use are for bird-watching, and we're talking two different animals here. *ahem* thanks, Ravensong |
