Default Proposed mathematics contest

I wonder what list members think of this idea: A scientific/technical
contest to compose a metric with reasonably economical energy
requirements for an Alcubierre-style "warp drive". Specifically, what
I'm suggesting is a "usable" warp bubble geometry. The prize would be,
say, equivalent to the X-Prize.

Me, I'm going to stick with geese that unexpectedly migrate to Alpha
Centauri attached to some sort of wooden frame I can ride on:

Either that, or get lifted into the air via vials of dew at sunrise.. I
still haven't made my mind up.
Frankly, at this stage of understanding interstellar travel and how it
would actually be done, both those are every bit as reasonable of
concepts as anything you are going to run into today.
I still like this little recent problem with the collapsing hyperspace
wave-rider concept:

Sure, we can ride inside a space-time bubble to the stars...mind you,
figuring out where around 50% of us is at any time is going to be a bit
difficult, but I think it hinges upon carrying a cat in a sealed box
along with us.
My all-time fave of recent physics BS is this one:

This is the perfect realization of the child's concept of covering his
eyes to hide himself...based on the logic of: "If I can't see you, you
can't see me."
Frankly, I think it's about time to throw Quantum Physics into the same
garbage can where Newtonian Physics now reside.
