But without trust in our leaders we can't go about our silly lives as
though we are the chosen ones. Imagine a world of individually
thinking and caring folks that actually deductively think for
themselves, having remorse and no fear of revising history in order to
reflect the best available truths.

Without ever knowing the truth(s), what would we all do with ourselves
if we couldn't repeat the mistakes of others, over and over?

Seems obfuscation, lack of truth and denial are each part of our DNA.
The pretend Atheist in most of us thrives on such, whereas we can say
one thing to others and otherwise act entirely different. It's called
lying.

You know, "under God" was only put in the flag salute in the 50's.
"In God we trust" was only put on the money around 1900. We seem to
have this creeping religion into our government, ignoring the
separation of church and state.

Double A Interesting about "God we trust" coming in 200 years after our
founding fathers put democracy together,and knew from history how
important it is to separate Gods from government. That is another reason
I predict we will pray to the "Godfather" for our daily bread. Kicker
is those that lost their jobs in the past few years need not wait for
the factories to reopen. Those out of work say in Michigan with its 12.7
unemployment are looking at GM factories sinking into the ground. They
would not make good roofs for the homeless. This depression was caused
by transporting our factories to Mexico (Ford) China (Levi) India(phone
service) UK (Severn Trent) etc. Here in Florida Cape Kennedy will be
shut down by 2011 because of its great corruption in giving up Saturn 5
for the Mickey Mouse shuttles. To sum it up Old jobs gone for good
New jobs very scarce Obama is no magician,and in reality he is using
hocus pocus to try to save America Even trillions and trillions of bucks
given away is not the solution,and in the end will just pull the rug out
under the tax paying peoples feet. People will refuse to pay taxes,and
the rich will live with their money over seas. Even our forefathers
knew if our democracy was to fall it would fall from within. It is
