Default Buttercup's first-light

The make-over of my 'new' 60mm refractor is nearly complete. Little
remains undone other than making covers for the optics and an
objective solar filter. I considered naming the telescope "Stinger",
but in the end I decided to go with my wife's suggestion: "Buttercup".

Buttercup's portrait as well as this evening's sketch of Venus have
recently been uploaded to my blog. Enjoy!

To sketch is to see.
