Default An Attractive Proposition (was - Space Elevator is itpossible?)

OK, so you probably need to explain how space exerts pressure, or
where the flow of space goes as it dives into gravitating
objects.

Aha. The perennial and inevitable 'Roach Motel' issue. In concert with
this, one must needs also ask where the stuff 'comes from' in the Big
Bang. Locically, whatever "place" the BB 'comes from' is one and the
same as where it 'goes to' in the process of gravitation.. a common,
nonlocal 'ground state'. Under such a proposal, the process of
gravitation is viewed *quite literally* as the inverse of the BB
process. Gravitation and the BB comprize a natural dipole sharing the
common 'ground state'.
