The York AS would like to invite you to the British Astronomical Association
(BAA) "Back to Basics" Workshop which we are hosting on Saturday 1st November. This workshop is aimed at anyone who is new to astronomy or would like to learn about a different area of astronomy to observe. We have a selection of BAA expert observers coming to explain how to master the different areas of observing. The cost of the full day event is £8.00 for BAA members and under 16's and £13.00 for all others. This cost includes all the talks and practical workshops, plus a buffet lunch and refreshments. Where else can you get a whole days entertainment, help from experts, food and refreshments for such little cost? If you are interested in attending please book via the BAA office by calling 0207 734 4145 to request a booking form, or go on line to www.britastro.org for more information and to access the booking form on line and then pay by credit card. Very best wishes and clear, dark skies, The York AS. ######################## |
