This particular news group is devoted to astronomy and astrophysics. I'm

Thanks Nihilist. It isn't often that I get encouragement
on the newsgroup forums, but when I do I'm very grateful.

He's a troll. He usually posts through an anonymous remailer, because
any normal ISP would ban him rather than get complaints.
The only thing he cares about is getting a response. Preferably an
annoyed one, but if some lamebrain praises him that will do. He's got
such a colossal ego that he puts his name on posts so it's easy to kill
file him, and he publishes a list of people in his kill file (that
includes me. Hooray!)
