If photon / electron collisions change light frequency, how sure can we be about measured redshift?

So now I understand the reverse Compton effect is able to change the
energy of photons, could it have had effect on the light that reaches us?
We see redshift when we look away, but if that redshift was caused by
electrons originating from here (our stars) reducing the speed of photons in
our direction?
Unlikely, would put us at the center of everything again...
Probably daft (tm) idea.

I saw a web page a few weeks ago where there was a discussion
of this effect being used to measure the temperature(?) of hot
gas at the centre of distant galaxies.

We see redshift when we look away, but if that redshift was caused by

Momentum and energy are both conserved so every collision
introduces a change of direction. Distant galaxies would
be slightly blurred if this was the cause and this is not
observed.

Unlikely, would put us at the center of everything again...
Probably daft (tm) idea.

People have searched for it so it can't be that daft.

The electrons could easliy have caused the shift.
Since the only thing "cause" really means in
science it's what's the optimal way to dodge the draft.
Which is already well-known to be to get a university janitor
job, and life-time subscriptions to
Mao in Review, Hustler on The Work Farm, and
Newtonian in Chemisty: Myth or Reality?

On a sunny day (18 Nov 2003 18:31:27 -0800) it happened

This is actually getting interesting, and an other subject to carry on about
that I know nothing about.
When I was in my school days, could not tell the difference between left and
right (politics).
Probably because all were left.
Later when started working, all were right, simple to play along.
Now I am simply against Bush, so basically against ahum...
Now Mao, well look at history, it swings back and forth.
Right (as opposite from wrong) or wrong?
Hard to say, Bush speaks to those that do not think for themselves, as that
is the majority of Americans, (and many of those cannot read write too so I
have read), he has still a lot of votes.
As more body bags arrive ( 400 now), and cannibalism has not picked up in
the US, this helps no-one, neither does it Bush, so public opinion swings
around, the non-thinkers will finally also start screaming 'hang him' and
history repeats itself...
So I 'd rather stand back and we can always later make money with 'Bush in
Review', falsify some history etc.. as long as it sells.
So do I make sense? Of cause not.
Just watched this science program about the re-occurring ice-times.
These will come, and most of north America up to New York will be covered
with glaciers.
They carry on about us burning some fuels will bring it around a few years
earlier?
They say these changes could even happen within a year!
So, Wall street, hehe sell it all.
All our ideas, all our achievements, all our 'certainties' are for the grab
if nature does its play.
So enjoy what you have now, tomorrow may not come, or you may live in an
igloo.
The Eskimos had the best chances of survival they say...
But I personally would move towards the equator....
Myth or reality?
Lost for words, important thing is you are happy now.
Who cares about Mao, he is dead...
Hope he had a nice time too.

Well, that's wrong, since there is no such thing
as politics in school. School is run exclusively
by the science Gestapo, at $50K/annum/student.
There are no refunds. Except in China,
were they give you a bullet as a refund.

Later when started working, all were right, simple to play along.

They're not all right, only retarted French bio-chemisty is right.
The ones we export are left.

Now I am simply against Bush, so basically against ahum...

It's easy to be against Bush.
But since it's even easier to be against Gore,
the war will continue unabated.

Now Mao, well look at history, it swings back and forth.

I have looked at history.
Mao was a one-of-a-kind in *China*.

Right (as opposite from wrong) or wrong?
Hard to say, Bush speaks to those that do not think for themselves, as that
is the majority of Americans, (and many of those cannot read write too so I
have read), he has still a lot of votes.

A lot of US presidents have assumed that.
Particularly idiots from Yale and Harvard.

As more body bags arrive ( 400 now), and cannibalism has not picked up in
the US, this helps no-one, neither does it Bush, so public opinion swings
around, the non-thinkers will finally also start screaming 'hang him' and
history repeats itself...

But that's exactly what Hilter said about non-thinkers.
Which is also the reason that we fried not only Berlin,
but also his entire Navy.

So I 'd rather stand back and we can always later make money with 'Bush in
Review', falsify some history etc.. as long as it sells.

But what all science programs about 10,000 year old
subjects always fail to mention is that they
happened 10,000 years ago. Unfortunately the *only*
*circa 2003* ice age is the US Air Force base at the South Pole.

These will come, and most of north America up to New York will be covered
with glaciers.

But, since Chicago will obviously give us it's
semi-annually 2000 year advance notice,
New York doesn't care, never has cared.

Since our policy is still, morons should
discuss the subject with Los Angelos,
since when that happens the rest of us will
be at Times Square.

They carry on about us burning some fuels will bring it around a few years
earlier?
They say these changes could even happen within a year!

They already have happened.
They happened in New York,
They happened in Boston,
They happened on the Cleveland River,
they happened in Love canal,
they happened in New Jersey,
they happend in Pittsburg,
they happened in Baltimore,
they happened in Philadelphia,
they happened everywhere except Washington.

So, Wall street, hehe sell it all.
All our ideas, all our achievements, all our 'certainties' are for the grab
if nature does its play.

The Eskimos had the best chances of survival they say...

Not since the Canadians converted the Eskimos to Canadians.
Canada is the Earth's sole property manager of ice.

But I personally would move towards the equator....

Since the equator would be where the worst
flooding is, that may not be a good idea.

Myth or reality?
Lost for words, important thing is you are happy now.
Who cares about Mao, he is dead...

Nothing dies in China,
they've been buring their entire armies
since 2000 BC.
Hope he had a nice time too.

Sorry, since they gave the idiot a Jane Fonda jacket,
he didn't have a good time.
