N S hemispheres.

very easy naked eye cities.

Default tonite mond waxing crescent moon will be in tight bunch: star=MARS.2 deg N of crescent moon, north-west NOW Sun 8 Jun 2008 nzst 6pm everywhere.

apparently it should be PLANET..mars xxxx but tonite mond waxing
crescent moon will be in tight bunch
regulus alpha leonis lion and planet saturn

6 pm nzst.

To which star are you referring, please, Don? And what, if anything,
is
special about it?
Stars close to the Ecliptic but north of it, and close to the Moon
that I
can see include:-
Acubens;
Altert
Algieba (gamma Leonis);
Raselas;
Asellus Australis
Regulus (alpha Leonis); next day tod mond 9/6/08. don

I note, too, that the planet Mars is nearby as well, as is Saturn.
