Default ASTRO: M81 + the Integrated Flux Nebula from Mt. Amiata

Hi all

I'm pleased to present the galaxy M81 with near the FluxNebula in Ursa
MAjor.
The image accompanied by a graphic map:

done with the Flat Field Camera 760/4 & ccd ST-10XME unfiltered for
12 x 600 seconds:

That's a difficult image. You do this from your usual location near Rome? I'd think the light pollution would be too severe. I only got a hint of it in my M81 shot (one hour at the equivalent of f/5). I wanted to try going much deeper but the weather had other ideas. Maybe next year.

You picked up a lot of detail in Holmberg IX as well!
