Default Total eclipse shots

Hi all,

Here are a couple of shots from last night's eclipse. A rare sight
from the UK I gather. Lots of hazy cloud around made getting the right
exposure a nightmare.

Well done Pete,

that's pretty much how I saw it here, but a little after mid eclipse it went
cloudy!

All the best

Nice! A real "orange" looking Moon! I had dead-clear skies but in
the city with a -15 deg. temp, seeing was terrible, so my images are
not nearly as sharp.

Excellent as always Pete

Being a total ignoramus about this sort of thing, any pointers as to
kit and settings used to produce these wonderful images ?

TIA

Nick - who didn't bother getting up as there was too much cloud and it
was far too windy here in Northallerton !

Great images Pete!!

This was one eclipse where I was too lazy to do much imaging. I just got
some video with a camcorder and enjoyed the view thru my 20x80 binoc's.

Umm, with respect, did you notice the words in the pictures near the
bottom edge?
