Default A dark future for cosmology

`A-aay!` as Fonzie would say. You just saw a graphic
demo of the VSP at work, reaffirming the title of this thread, "A Dark
Future for Cosmology". And to think a paradigm so all-pervasive was
hatched suddenly out of whole cloth scarcely 80 years ago by an edict
of pure caprice and fiat.
