ASTRO: Cone/Foxfur in Halpha and updated Sh 2-240
I went out to the ranch on Friday and imaged from there on Friday and
Saturday nights shooting Halpha. I managed to snag 5h40min of SH2-240 in a moonless sky over the two nights and what a difference it makes, even with a tight narrowband filter. no moon: http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/sha...omoon_page.htm full moon: http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/sha..._csHa_page.htm I got clouded over by 1am on Friday night so I actually got some sleep :-) Then on Saturday I finished the Sharpless data from above before the moon rose and after that I shot in the Cone/Foxfur area for two hours before clouds got me in the wee hours of Sunday morning while I was sleeping. I let the automation software finish the shooting and then it parks when done. http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/ngc...s4_ha_page.htm |
