Hi all,
one of my first shots with my new sbig ST2K, i used to image with starlight
camera especially with my old MX916. i find the st2k less noisy, i didn't
notice so poor halpha sensibility.

Here is IC405 7X20 min, bin 1X1 (cropped), halpha, imaged with ST2K and
Meade 8" SCT working at FD5 with focal reducer lumicon, guided with 60mm
refractor and starlight guider cam.

It was impossible to find an adequate guiding star with halpha filter in
front of the autoguidind device (and so was it for others targets in halpha)
!

all shots acquired in urban sky at Cannes, french riviera as usual.

Best regards

Patrice BOYER
