New Resources for Amateur Astronomers
Like most keen amateur astronomers I have generated all kinds of computer based resources to support my observing campaigns. These resources are scattered far-and-wide between the libraries run by various on-line groups, at least two different computers and several back-up DVD's. My initial plan was to gather everything together in one place just for my own convenience - but on further reflection there seemed to be no harm in making this material more widely available. All this material is offered on a strictly "as-is" basis. The current state of our astronomical knowledge is constantly changing which means that facts that were correct at the time the list was compiled might not be correct when you come to use it months or years later. Happy, cheerful or supportive emails are very welcome - use without comment is fine - abuse is not acceptable. I anticipate that this webpage - which might turn into a series of pages - will be updated several times per week until the backlog of material has been processed. http://www.martin-nicholson.info/res...newtargets.htm Martin Nicholson, Daventry, England. http://www.martin-nicholson.info/1/1a.htm Visit the Astronomical Hall of Shame at http://www.geocities.com/queen5658/ |
