PLEEEEZE!!!! enough already. there are now and there certainly were
back in the old days; plenty of gay astronauts. We gay men cannot just prance around a military base and proclaim to the world what it is we like, and what it is we do. Don't be prejudice. We face enough discrimination. We are proud of who we are and what we do for our country and our country should be proud of us. |

om... We are proud of who we are and what we do for our country and our country should be proud of us. Fine- but that *doesn't* mean that I have to be proud of you *because you are gay*. I should be proud and supportive of my country's soldiers *because they are soldiers*. The University of Florida has an exceptionally vocal gay community; while on campus one day during a rally, I was informed by one fellow that I had to respect him *because he was gay*. He almost got decked, not because he was gay, but because he insisted on getting in my face. If I choose to respect him, *I* get to choose the reason why. I choose not to respect someone simply because he or she is straight or gay. To end this particular thread, let's not forget that Hitler was straight, that picture of him in Eva Braun's bra and panties notwithstanding. -- If you have had problems with Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), please contact shredder at bellsouth dot net. Still waiting for the names of the alleged astronauts, and the reference
sources. Without data, the claim must be assumed to be false. Matt Bille ) OPINIONS IN ALL POSTS ARE SOLELY THOSE OF THE AUTHOR |

You clearly missed mine, which was, by invoking Hitler, a declaration that this thread was officially over. You just seemed to be confusing the two things (transvestitism and homosexuality), like many people do -- I was just providing clarification. Note that it's not as effective as it could be, ending a thread by making an arguable statement. It invites further comment. And while you know and I know that an invocation of Hitler is an official declaration of the end of a thread, more often than not I've found that trolls and net.kooks ignore that particular Usenet convention... -- Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for | Doug Van Dorn thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup. | |

... You just seemed to be confusing the two things (transvestitism and homosexuality), Never, but I do believe it explains part of the difference between men and women. Women get to wear soft silky panties on their nether parts, while men get to wear hard scratchy briefs. Women would be more aggressive as well if they stuffed sandpaper in their panties. -- If you have had problems with Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), please contact shredder at bellsouth dot net.
