PLEEEEZE!!!! enough already. there are now and there certainly were
back in the old days; plenty of gay astronauts. We gay men cannot just
prance around a military base and proclaim to the world what it is we
like, and what it is we do. Don't be prejudice. We face enough
discrimination. We are proud of who we are and what we do for our
country and our country should be proud of us.

Fine- but that *doesn't* mean that I have to be proud of you *because you
are gay*. I should be proud and supportive of my country's soldiers *because
they are soldiers*.

The University of Florida has an exceptionally vocal gay community; while on
campus one day during a rally, I was informed by one fellow that I had to
respect him *because he was gay*. He almost got decked, not because he was
gay, but because he insisted on getting in my face. If I choose to respect
him, *I* get to choose the reason why. I choose not to respect someone
simply because he or she is straight or gay.

To end this particular thread, let's not forget that Hitler was straight,
that picture of him in Eva Braun's bra and panties notwithstanding.

Transvestitism is wholly unassociated with
homosexuality.

Right. So, what's your point? You clearly missed mine, which was, by
invoking Hitler, a declaration that this thread was officially over.

Still waiting for the names of the alleged astronauts, and the reference
sources. Without data, the claim must be assumed to be false.

case... *sigh*...)

So you mean that should be an OR in there? :-)

If this is going to degenerate into a discussion of AND/OR statements, it
probably ought to be moved to an alt.comp newsgroup of some sort...
*grin*...

You just seemed to be confusing the two things (transvestitism and
homosexuality),

Never, but I do believe it explains part of the difference between men and
women. Women get to wear soft silky panties on their nether parts, while men
get to wear hard scratchy briefs. Women would be more aggressive as well if
they stuffed sandpaper in their panties.

You might want to use less starch...
