paddy thought the moon trip a waste of money

Me mate paddy an Irish Catholic thought going to the moon was a waste of
money because there was nothing there to sell.

He was slightly interested when someone suggested there may be diamonds on
the moon and Mars may have prestine nuggets of gold to pick up and diamonds
the size of footballs.

But with no coal or oil you cannot go anywhere.

Nothing there he said "no one went there - it is a waste of time lets have
the football on channel 2".

so we watched football instead of neil doing his jumping on the moon and
dropping feathers and a stone and having a laugh about one day in the very
merry month of may '69 they went on a jaunt to the moon! The Moon! Not made
of rock but not cheddar but american cheese in the very merry month of may.

oh well - money wins every time.

Then the built the shuttle for a "cheap reusable spacecraft" and never went
to the moon again.
