I was gonna say for a single shot at 20 minutes those must be some nice dark
skies. I've always had to stack 30 second to 5 minute subs. One day I'll start up again from a dark sky retirement spot. -Steve P. "Richard Crisp" wrote in message . .. that came out nice Robert "Robert Price" wrote in message ... |

very nice image! impressive black background for a single 20 minute exposure with an uncooled
camera! -- Martijn (martijn.dekker-at-xs4all.nl) 10" LX200, Coronado PST, William Optics Z80 EOS350D, ATK 16HRC www.xs4all.nl/~martlian |

"Robert Price" wrote .. Great image of the "number 3 nebula" Robert!! Last month some friends and I were observing from one of our dark-sky backyards and decided to go for some "challenge objects". I put my Obsession 20 on the Crescent and discovered that it's not such a "challenge" after all - at least not with a 20 under dark sky. It showed some good detail especially with UHC and O-III filters. George N |
