Same data just pushed the curves farther into the noise which allowed me
to hike the contrast -- maybe too much. Anyway, there are things I like
about this one and things I like about the other one and am undecided
which I prefer. So what do you folks think.

14" LX200R @ F/10, R=12x10', RGB=2x10' all binned 2x2, STL-11000XM,

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Rick,

Both are great!! While the 'less pushed' version may "look" a little
better, this version brings out the dark nebulosity. It's interesting to
note that there are fewer stars in the upper right of the image, showing
more absorption in that area.

Bottom line: I don't think that there is one "right" way to display
images. It all depends on what you want to show. If I were to put this image
on a web page, I'd show both versions.

Rick, I also find it hard to decide between the two versions, both are
great. Probably something between the two would be perfect. The brighter
version shows the blue reflection nebula to the right much nicer.
