Default Changes on a planetary scale?

Perhaps, if we do nothing to prevent it.
Should we think of this when we look at Mars.
Remember the warning in the Book of Revelations, that God would, "...hurt
those that hurt the earth.." Or as some versions say, "..destroy those who
destroy the earth.. "
We may reap this if don't turn around and stop our foolishness, and turn
back to God.
