Default B352 - Dark nebula in Cygnus - LLRGB 4 hrs total exposure

Dear friends ... and oriel,

I used the opportunity last night to pursue another interesting dark
nebula also in Cygnus. Due to transparency problems, I think the colours
may not be perfect and, as a result, a repeat visit would be wise.

For a glimpse at the effort from last night, please see
http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-DSO-Nebulae-Dark-B352.htm .... there is over
5000 stars in this particular image and in spite of the fact that a
portion of the field of view is devoid of them (ie. the dark nebula
itself).

Back at it again this evening for a similar exercise before all hell
breaks lose over the weekend and the extremely high temperatures.

Anthony.

Hi Sam,

It is really wonderful you share your work with us, Anthony! One
more way to connect us with the cosmos.

Many people here have also shared their love for astronomy with me
during the past few years right here on saa and it is only fair that I
try and do something similar.

It is one incredible preoccupation and no words can do justice.

Anthony.

-Sam

Could someone suggest exposure settings for fairly dark sky Aurora before tonight. Thanks [email protected] Amateur Astronomy 10 October 31st 03 03:25 PM
