For what.

I don't know what Erskine is putting in his posts, but it keeps crashing
Microplanet Gravity. :-P

Jeff

OK, so I've got to diet, but I'm not THAT fat! ;-)

Seriously, what are you putting in your posts? Are you attaching
binaries of some sort or what? Since they crash Microplanet Gravity, I
don't know what is inside of them that is so evil.

I just updated Microplanet Gravity to the latest version and your
original post which started this thread still crashes it. :-P

When I look at your original post in Google Groups, it appears to have
no content at all. Posting a subject without a proper body (text/ASCII)
makes no sense.

Jeff

I don't know what Microplanet Gravity is, but if it crashes from one of
my posts, it's ****. There was no body for the original post as it was
quite obvious what I was talking about and it would have been redundant.
Now, does that make sense?

I agree that Gravity shouldn't crash, so I submitted a bug report.
Hopefully they'll fix it. As to your one line posts, I guess I'll try
to remember to not click on one. After all, what's the point of reading
a post with zero lines in the body? Luckily, Gravity properly reports
zero lines for these posts. :-P

zero-length USENET message bodies are 'frowned upon', but -legal-.

If it crashed Gravity, that's a =definite= bug in that software.

It's possible that Gravity is not entirely at fault, that it could be an
interaction between Gravity and the particular software running on the
news-server you use. The 'Typhoon' and 'Dnews' servers are known to have
some quirks -- with regard to things that are 'ill-defined' in the protocol.
