Double-A I admit I got a little depressed,and Moby needed fresh ocean
water for his tank. Took Rudy and drove out to Daytona Beach. and camped on the sand. It was very nice. Spent a lot of time swimming, but the stars were not to clear at night. Walked along at night where the waves trickle to a stop at the shore line, and could see the light that was created by the friction of the ocean water against the sand. (phosphorescent) I live in the best of times, and the reason is each year the bikinis get smaller and smaller. No rain so I stayed a few days longer. Each morning I watched the Sun come out of the water. That is breath taking. Feel sorry for you Double-A you have to see it going down, and that is not as dynamic. I know I've seen it in both directions. Well I did not mean to have anyone worry about me. Sometimes I do stuff at the spire of the minute. Miss you all Bert |

Miss you all Bert Sounds like you had a great time doing the kind of stuff people do on a Memorial Day weekend, except you beat the crowds. At least you can still get out and do things. I sit here like I'm in jail because my car is too broke down to go far, and I can't afford to fix it. If I can't pull it all together soon, I may end up like Twitty. I hope I don't, but she ended up where she is simply because she couldn't pull herself together anymore. She used to make $100/hour you know, but she just couldn't push herself to go out and do it one more day. I hope someday to see the Sun rise over the ocean, but right now to see it set wouldn't be so bad either. I live only 70 miles from the beach, but I can't remember the last time I was there. Kind of sad. I'm glad you can still enjoy the simple things in life. The last vacation I took was in 1989. After that it was nothing but work. Then after burnout, it was nothing but nothing. Now nothing is left. Double-A |

Double-A What is wrong with your car? I know a lot about cars(they
are my hobby) I don't like driving on holiday weekends. Took the van and that saved a lot of bucks. Motels would not let Rudy in,and she is to attached to me to leave her in a kennel for a week. I don't think old people like me should have a young dog. Bert |

Double-A I have a gut feeling Saul missed me a lot. If Treb is a
positive thinker Saul has to be a negative thinker. It is all part of natures balancing act. Bert |

I know a lot about cars(they are my hobby) There was a time when I worked on my own cars, but I gave it up somewhere along the way. When I was having battery problems, I had a hard time finding my tools. The bolts on even American cars nowadays are in metric sizes. Isn't that a kick? I never liked the metric system because the number 10 has no mathematical significance other that it represents the number of fingers on your hands. The English system with its binary based subdivision of units makes much more sense to somebody like me who was involved with computers for many years. I don't like driving on holiday weekends. Took the van and that saved a lot of bucks. Just like back in your hippy days, huh? We had a name for those sleep in vans! Bert Old dogs suffer from the same problems as old people. (Need Depends!) Double-A |

Double-A Cars today run on their computers(I hate that) My first car
was my home. I slept in the back seat. It was a two door Plymouth My conversion van would have seemed like a mansion in comparison. If I had my way from the very beginning all cars would be diesel.Reason is they can do every thing a computer can do mechanically. I like the Winkle motor attached to and electric motor, and no transmission Best to keep in mind an electric motor will only take the energy needed to operate. I like that feature. Equation is Winkle + electric = Way to go Both fit well with my "Spin is in ideas" Bert |

Young people won't like it. Double-A |
