Yes, but can you deliver?

No problem! Treat it just like land, you go out to it. But for the finicky,
fresh photons delivered to your scope every night!

I was doing a Google search for "transverse velocity of M31" and the
"sponsored link" says "M31 Compare UK prices from hundreds of
retailers". Should go well with my dehydrated water.

No kidding?

This site

You misspelled "your site".

claims that there are already over 1,125,000
lunar land owners from 176 countries around
the world.

Of which the site provides no evidence 'cause of "privacy" concerns.

To date more than 300 million acres have been
issued to people from all walks of life here on
planet Earth.

Did your lawyer recommend using "issue"?

The sale of lunar property has been ongoing for
22 years by the Lunar Embassy!

And I'm really a Rabbit posting to Usenet.

Can this be trusted?

Bhahahaha!

It's a pretty good investment but I don't know if
it holds in court.

I wonder if the FTC is aware of this scam.

Did you know that you can "buy" a star?

This site claims that there are already over 1,125,000 lunar land

owners
from 176 countries around the world. To date more than 300 million

acres
have been issued to people from all walks of life here on planet

Earth. The
sale of lunar property has been ongoing for 22 years by the Lunar

Embassy!

Can this be trusted? It's a pretty good investment but I don't know

if it
holds in court.

"The UN Outer Space Treaty of 1967 stipulated that no government
could own extraterrestrial property. However, it neglected to
mention individuals and corporations. Therefore, under laws dating
back from early US settlers, it was possible to stake a claim for
land, and register it with the US Government Office of claim
registries."

Codswallop. Considering that it is not now and never has been US
territory
as per the above.

Unfortunately for the Lunar Embassy, early US settlers had to do more

than
simply stake a claim. Now ask yourself whether the Lunar Embassy has
actually lived on and worked the land.

Not to mention the fact that I seriously doubt US law can be enacted on
foreign or
otherwise unclaimed territory. And since the US can't claim it due to
the UN stuff
above, US laws about settlers are as irrelevant there as they are here
in Oz.

In Australia, we call this sort of thing fraud, since they are offering
for
sale something that they do not have a clear and undisputable title to.
In other words
it's not theirs to sell. Scammers and crooks in other words.

If I claimed ownership of the sun, could I charge everyone on earth
(and elsewhere) for use my photons? Hmmmm.... the possibilities are
endless.
