I'd like to know his real reasons for his original posts. But I doubt
that he has anything of real substantial merit to argue. My bet is
that he is just shooting his mouth off.

The real reason is clear : admitted torture by the American government,

because I believe that anyone who lives on hate is sub-human, and
their loss of human life is justified.

I like your views Harry. I dont neccesarily see things exactly as you
do, but your sincerity seems to have struck a chord.

I find that many people today (including myself) have a tendency to
think like a school of fish. They dont have reasons to believe the
things they believe, they just go along with the crowd. So we have
this type of "fast food hatred" and "fast food love" which is
disposable and meaningless because it has no substance.

My explanation was poor. To re-explain :

After 911 there were some who blamed Israel. But you also find others
who feel just the opposite, that even though not Jewish, Israel
becomes a rallying point for 911 vengeance against the radicals. In
fact, there is a whole spectrum of viewpoints on this one topic alone.

I really can't agree with you more. What I tend to believe is that kt
and his sock puppets, and simply immature kids who have no grasp of
history or the real world, and rant their hatred becaue that have
nothing better to do with the empty time on their hands. Then too,
posters like these may suffer from mental problems. I really can't
say because I'm not qualified to make such a diagnosis.

What does occur to me as a simple physicist, is that posters who rant
and rave on off-topic issues via sci.pyrotechnics must surely have
some maturity or metal stability issues.

Most of us who post here are primarily foucused on the the subject of
physics and/or to help others with their understanding of the physical
sciences, while outsiders more often come here to rant off-topic on
their own agendas. I'll leave it to you to figure out why that is.
Frankly, I really don't have a clue as to why they do this.
