Addendum#3
7. Statements are made about "accelerated flow" near surfaces and "unaccelerated flows" farther out in space. These "unaccelerated flows" are stated as being able to bend light, even though they move at much slower speeds than "surface escape velocities". Damn, has this guy got comprehension difficulty or what?? In those many discussions of flow lensing in regard to "dark matter", it was pointed out that large scale, non-accelerating flows of the intergalactic medium are gonna lens light just as is observed. Obviously, huge flow velocities are involved at that scale, it's a no-brainer. Jee-ay-zus. Then there's the local, small scale example of flow lensing seen in the 2X-Newtonian deflection of light in traversing a gravity well. |
