Again, just what from 'elsewhere' are you suggesting they use? Keep
in mind that it needs to be integrated with whatever weapons you elect
to use, your current C4I systems, logistics, etc.

You keep bleating 'elsewhere' but don't seem able or willing to offer
any concrete suggestions or even any evidence that they DIDN'T "look
elsewhere".

If _Singapore_ can afford F-15s, then Australia should be able to afford
them also.
I mean, Australia isn't a third world country just yet, is it?
We haven't yet seen a new Aussie television program called "Skippy, The
Starving Bush Kangaroo" have we? :-D

We probably could afford some F-15Es, but not enough to replace the 21 Pigs.

We're going downhill, but not as fast as the rest of the West, I think. We'll get there though.

"Skippy, Skippy, the bush kangaroo.
He is starving, but who knew?
His ribs are showing through his rough 'roo hide,
His leaping is pathetic, and he's ending his life's ride.
Skippy, Skippy, the famished kangaroo.
Soon he is a Kal-Kan treat for your pets and you."

Well, the F-15 isn't built 'elsewhere' than the US. The F-15 would
still have to be cleared for whatever weapons the RAAF use that aren't
currently used from the F-15.

I already told you what the Australians are actually doing. Easy to
find on the web...

Sure it is, but exhibiting disdain for such has an equally long Usenet
tradition.
