ANN: PP3 1.3.2

Halloechen!

PP3 v1.3.2 has been released. Its homepage is
http://pp3.sourceforge.net, and the download area can be found at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pp3.

PP3 is free software. It generates celestial charts of high
(typo)graphical quality. It uses LaTeX + pstricks for this, so the
end formats are EPS and PDF (in contrast to mere bitmaps).

The program automatically avoids labels that overlap, and you can
change many parameters. You can place arbitrary text on the map
using the flexibility of the LaTeX language.

This release doesn't introduce new features of the program itself.
Improvements since the last release:

* Example PP3 scripts for *all* 88 constellations, including some
more constellation lines

* Example GIMP script for converting PP3 output to bitmaps in batch
mode

* Fixed some bugs; one of them could cause a huge waste of memory
and made PP3 unusable on gentoo.

PP3 has been used for the stellar maps of all constellations on
http://www.wikipedia.org.
