You would be more credible if you started by spelling his name
correctly. The Pythagoran theorem is trivial special case of the
general triangle theorem. Look it up to learn why the right angle is
so convenient.

I am trying to explain step by step Geometry, Newtonian Mechanics of
this action device. Please, Uncle Al, concentrate on "meaning", not on
words.
