Default Astro2000 telescopes ?

These are being advertised on a regular basis on Ebay and other sites.

Anyone have any idea what the optical quality is like ?

They look pretty cheap (102mm Achromatic for under £300) but are they
just cheap and nasty ?

Hi Tony,

Dont know anything about the scopes or company but you can get a Skywatcher
102 with a mount for £219, a 120mm for £279

I got an Astro2000 114900 telescope for christmas off my sister and I
must say I am very pleased with it. I haven't seen their achromatic
but for their reflector I have compared it with a skywatcher of the
same size (and more expensive) that one of my friends has. We both
agreed that the Astro2000 scope was better (much to my friends
annoyance! ha ha), I haven't compared it with an expensive scope but I
would say that it is very good for the price. The eyepieces are good
too, I get a good sharp image.
