... http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releas...-iha012808.php I would like to add that I think there is hanky panky on every side of the debate to some degree or other. It seems there is some very strange agendas at the moment, and so much political propaganda that it's very difficult to understand what is really going on! Something is certainly going on with the weather, but some of the positions being taken seem truly bizarre. The lobby against CO2 seems not to be based on actual science, even though the proponents point at melting ice etc and don't seem to offer any real science to support the CO2 argument. Considering that it's the ones providing the CO2 generating stuff, big oil etc who would seem to have the greatest lobbying power why would they be shooting themselves in the foot? Perhaps a reduction in usage may not actually mean a reduction in profits, if the supply, which we know is dwindling, is to be more tightly limited? Or perhaps there is another agenda? It's got me baffled. Vince |
