compile that Suggested Troll Killfile List for sci.space.*. As it

Bickersons...er...the Chumpko-McCall couple.

I recently added Fink to mine. He's really gone off the deep end lately.

I recently added Fink to mine. He's really gone off the deep end lately.

....Here's the list that I have so far, in no particular order at this
time in termse of severity:

Brad Guth
Bob Haller
Erik Chomko
Fred J. McCall
scott grissom
Craig Fink
Tommy Lee Elfritz
*Anyone* with the last name of Maxson
Andre Lieven
Stuf4 AKA "~CT"
LIBERATOR
Leopold Stotch
"The Commentator"
Danny Dot - or whatever he's going by now? Deger?
Nicholas Fitzpatrick
"Jonathan"

....Now, a couple of these may no longer be out there, as I've seen
nothing of them in terms of having been quoted for a while. But
looking back through google groups, if everyone killfiled these
trolling *******s, about 75% of the trash on all three groups would be
eliminated. In the case of .policy, this would equate to about 5000
posts a month, if not a week, that we wouldn't have to wade through.

....What I'd need to make this list work best is to include specific
reasons why they should be sent to Killfile Hell. In the case of scum
like ElfNazi, even one anti-semitic post is justification enough,
while in the case of Chumpko & McCall, just one lovers' spat and the
observation that this has been going on for years would suffice, not
to mention examples of their own trollish nature. The Maxson Family
Values - or lack thereof - are easily googleable, and the patridork of
the family has his own insanity hung out like bloody sheets on his own
website. The evidence is there, we just need to compile it
accordingly. For example:

Alias Used:
Real Name (if known):
Known E-Mail Address(es), fake or real:
Primary Justification For Killfiling:
Best Example Of Evidence Cited:
Additional Links To Evidence:

....Again, it wouldn't be that hard to compile it if everyone pitched
in.

....I should add that there's a catch to this one: whoever gets added
to the list should be a troll that's accepted as such by a majority.
If, say, you're Hoppy and you can't stand Pat's posts while pretty
much everyone else at least tolerates his posts, then put him in
*your* killfile and let everyone else make their own decision. The
list isn't to censor and/or stifle valid disagreements, it's to
eliminate trolling *******s. There *IS* a difference, which is why
you'll note that I don't have Rand listed in my sample list, even
though he's sharing a cell in part of my killfile with Brad Guth right
now.

Bottom Line: We can reduced the severity of the troll infestation on
the sci.space groups if we take the necessary steps to make everyone
aware of who the acknowledged trolls are. Several of them use the same
standard tactics to catch the n00bs and the clueless off guard - you
know, post something interesting, then twist the resulting thread into
some insane CT nutter pile of hot, steaming, festering bull**** - and
having a regularly-posted list like this will give the rest of us
something to refer them to when they start replying to the trolls.

And if we eliminate the trolls this way, we can get back many of the
serious posters who left because of them.

Killfiles are for the weak. I'm glad I'm in yours as I live up to your
creed of being obnoxious enough to make your day! ha-ha

Your list reminds me of Nixon's enemies list. You do seem quite
Nixonian in your own right. LOL!!

I think my killfile list includes everyone on OM's, except for you and Fred
McCall. People should use their own judgement when using killfiles.

Yeah, but I'm in Fred's killfile but I know he's dying to comment on
some stuff like the airline industry of 1928 and the like. Stuff like
that he can't leave alone.

And it is OM's fantasy that there is anything other than discussion
between Fred and I.

I wonder about OM being bipolar. I mean at times he's reasoned and
informative and them, "bamm", off the deep end!

I dunno. The amount of traffic in these SCI space groups isn't really
THAT much. I guess if you're reading more groups it might make a
diffeence but not if SCI space is all you do like I am these days.

Serious posters? Surely you jest. Only fascists like you would propose
the elimination of trolls and crackpots. In America, we celebrate them.

This is nothing here, try over at sci.environment if you want trolls.

OM, I've read some of your post. What I've found is that 1 in a 100 are
good. Usually, it's on the subject of History. Consider writing more on
that subject. The other 99 is why I don't read much of it, or those who
regularly respond to you.

Consider, this is Usenet, the subject is sci.space.*, I wouldn't want my
child reading a lot of the stuff you post. I'm sure many of the regulars
here with children who wouldn't want them reading a lot of your post. This
isn't a bar. I'd like to encourage kids interested in sci.space.*

Consider, "You are what you eat", equally, "You think what you read". We all
pick and choose what we read, in essence we choose how we brainwash
ourselves by what we read. It's a personal choice, what thoughts you want
to have. Just consume enough and ...

I'd send you a Courtesy E-Mail, but you might be offended.

I wouldn't want my children, or friends reading anything that you
post. When I read your insanity, I can actually feel my IQ dropping.
