Default It's almost Skywatch Time Again!

But,I'll tell y'all...if ya don't kick in with some contributions it's
gonna be one sad, thin little issue. I've got my nose to the
grindstone working on a new book, and don't have time to write much in
the way of new material for this ish.

What do I need? Anything having to do with amateur astronomy, from
reviews, to cartoons, to poetry, to fiction to how-tos.

When do I need it? ASAP.

How do you contact me or send your work ? Via direct email.

What do you get? Well, I won't be writing you a check, but your work
will be seen by several thousand of your brother and sister amateurs
in the time the issue is current, and several folks who've published
in Skywatch have gone on to the "bigger and better" in the astro-
writin' biz.

Never seen an issue?

How do you feel about reprints, Rod? I've long since been paid for the work
in question, so getting paid for it isn't an issue. (No pun intended.)

Not a problem at all--as long as you have the rights.

I do, all rights reverted to me upon publication, which was something like
11-12 years ago.

Are you set up for attachments in Word, or would you want this (it's a poem)
in the body of an email?

Dear Uncle Rod,

Please let me explain that I attempted submitting an article last night
as plain ASCII text in the body of an e-mail, and got back a message
that the mail couldn't be delivered either because of anti-spam issues,
or some "policy" issues related to "reputation," maybe that of messages
from users at my ISP.

Possibly this also affected an earlier e-mail I sent last week about
submitting an article, which I had not yet written.

Anyway, I'm not sure just what is happening with the e-mail problem, or
whether I should report the problem to tech support at my ISP, but I
wonder about two other methods for getting the article to you:

(1) Simply posting it here, where it would certainly be on topic; or
(2) Posting a URL to it.

With many thanks,

Margo Schulter
