Double-A Don't cook anymore. Got an invite to a cook out but stayed
home.Just as well its been raining very hard all day. Picked up Ball
Park hot dogs, and boiled 3. Picked up a large order of Burger King
fries and that was my 4th dinner. Lots of Bud light too. Would like to
have taken Rudy to see the Sun come up out of the ocean possibly for the
last time in my life. To far a drive. To old To much lightning for
Rudy. In two hours PBS will have a good 4th show(Tony Dancer). I'll
watch that in bed. Looks like Disney's fire works will be rained out

We all celebrate it best we can. I enjoyed roasted chicken from the
store reheated in the microwave. Who needs to go through all that
trouble with a barbeque? Ate plenty of ice cream and some potato
salad. And I have some of my favorite liquid refreshments for this
evening. I usually walk to the edge of the complex and watch a local
fireworks display. But this year I think I will walk all the way over
to where they set it off. It is over a mile, but that is no problem
for me anymore. I used to hardly be able to walk to the mailbox and
back. Sometimes I would drive. But since Twittering encouraged me to
exercize, I have gotten to where I can walk many miles at a time! I
feel I am getting younger and stronger, not older. I have lost a lot
of weight too. It is now 89F here. So it will probably break 90F
before the afternoon is over. Tomorrow is expected to be about the
same. So continue having a good one, Bert, best you can.
