Default NEWS - Bush May Announce Return To Moon At Kitty Hawk - Space Daily

On or about Fri, 31 Oct 2003 00:40:25 GMT, Rand Simberg made the sensational claim that:
On 31 Oct 2003 00:29:31 GMT, in a place far, far away, "Jorge R.
Frank" made the phosphor on my monitor glow in
such a way as to indicate that:

But then again, JFK was a Democrat - nope, can't
criticize *him*...

Not just a Democrat, but an Irishman... ;-)

And a catholic at that.

Pat, you're entering delusion territory now.

We've got a killer cyborg as the governor of a state...and you're saying
_I'm_ getting delusional? Reality is getting more surreal than anything
I could ever come up with...still, it's unfortunate that Jesse Ventura
still isn't the governor of Minnesota; if that were the case, and alien
Predators landed, we would be ready fer 'em.

Oh, well *that's* a credible source...

His fiction sucks, but he's the best political cynic since H.L. Menckin.
I don't always agree with him, but God- is he fun to read.
Particularly when the hunt for the Hydrox cookies starts...anybody who
realizes that the Oreo is but an inferior knock-off of the Hydrox with
delusions of grandeur is okay in my book.

Again, I do not claim that DQ did or did not know what relation his

written, it's not a stretch to say that it's pretty much in line
with what a lot of today's planetologists would say, or at least
admit into the space of reasonable discussion.

Try this one on for size- "What a terrible thing to have lost one's
mind. Or not to have a mind at all. How true that is."
Others say the quote was this:
"What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or to not have a mind is being
wasteful. How true that is."
-- Vice President Dan Quayle winning friends while speaking to the
United Negro College Fund

Whatever, he was no doubt talking to his fellow astronauts; or, to put
it another way:
"It's time for the human race to enter the solar system."
--Vice President Dan Quayle
Wouldn't Dubya and him have made a great team? We're talking classic
comedy routines here. It would be a ball watching them try to deliver a
piano up a flight of steps.

Hell, for all we know the "Orbital Space Plane" may end up being a
ballistic capsule.

But he still got to screw Marilyn Monroe, which is more than any of you
heathens are going to be able to accomplish without violating several
laws of man and nature.

The thing that's missing from all this is a rational reason to return to

Yes, and he's just been recalled and replaced with an actor.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the killer cyborg junior Senator from
New York.
