...Out of curiosity, is anyone from either .history or .shuttle going
to this event besides myself and Jim Oberg?

Monday October 25th is next year, at the earliest.

Not content with the nuclear-probe stuff, Jim's been working on a few
little chronological discontinuity projects... g

With DVCAM in hand? For us poor sodds waaay south of the border?

...Quite possibly. Depends on whether or not I can find where my
****ing tripod disappeared to.

Will you post your notes here for those of us not forced to live in
Texas?

....And it was good meeting you too, Tad! The turnout was pretty good,
and Jim even ran a little over on the second lecture *and* gave us
time to swap tape!

I'll have some highlights of the lectures shortly, as soon as I get
past the mid-week website photo shoot nightmares...

I enjoyed meeting you as well, OM! The room was full for Jim's
presentation and I noticed that nobody left early. It was nice to be
able to chat with Jim for a few minutes after his talk, and I left with
an autographed copy of "Star-Crossed Orbits"!
