Default Fantastic views tonight.....

Just in case anyone is missing it, I've just been out to take a few
shots of the moon, and although it's a full moon, I got some brilliant
views (better with the aperture stop attached).

Saturn is also showing its glory as well, my 6" Dob revealed the ring
shadow, the Cassini division, and some cloud structure too. All before
complete dark, and with the moon out too.

Fancy meeting you here (mac group refugee).

Didn't see Saturn too well with the bins, what did you make of Venus?

Moon was spectacular though. Bright in clear skies.

Well, I like to see how many people I can annoy :-)

Saturn was great through the scope tonight, very clear indeed. Venus,
well, that's just a round blod ain't it? ;-)

Yes, for a near full moon, it showed very clear indeed. I did get a few
shots with the E500 on the 'Scope too, probably some of the best yet
(now that I've worked out the attachment setup for using it prime focus
on the Dob).
