Yes. They look so attractive, next to the pumpkins.

Urban legend (surfaces here with alarming regularity):

If you think something might be an urban legend, check www.snopes.com
before you post here.

If it says "This is not spam!", it's surely a lie.

Let's do a preemptive strike and get the other Moon legend out of the
way right now:

Thank you for the replies. I'm sorry to have wasted your time. The original
posting followed a conversation with a well respected mathematition in my
school. I had not heard of the quote but knew that the readers of this
newsgroup would know the answer. I can now pass the information on that it
is all a rather rude joke.

A question asked in the right place is a rarely a waste of time.

No no. As you see, plenty of guys had some fun with it. And you
asked, not claimed, that statement.

The original
posting followed a conversation with a well respected mathematition in my

Well, being a mathematician says nothing about competence when it comes
to space history. (Any mathematicians around the regular posters here on s.s.h?)

Harald

PS: Is it possible to have a Usenet-autoresponder that send out the correct
answer whenever it matches "Gorsky" in a posting? ;-)
