Default MOON - Apr 13, 07

To be honest though it won't matter if you don't have a web site, as
they really require some sort of permanent hosting.

Out of interest how are you generating the data?

Jim

Jim,

I'm using an Excel spreadsheet with the Jean Meuss
Algorithms. It will do the Moon, plus nutation and obliquity,
and eclipses. Page 2 I have sidereal time and the Planets
and Page 3 is dedicated to orbital computations of comets
and asteroids.

It's only 370 kb and that astounded me. It seemed like
I did a million data entries but the thing is very efficient.

I'm not quite through with it yet - need to finish off the moons
of Jupiter and Saturn and tighten up the computations for
Earth's Moon. Determining sunrise/set on a feature and
accounting for libration is a little tricky. I have to confess
I have been waiting for some people to start throwing
rocks when one of the positions is seriously wrong but
so far no one has. I have caught a couple of errors but
not too serious. I'm still fine-tuning.

Ben
