Default Mira brightens

The variable star Mira is currently a naked eye object as it
approaches maximum which should be in March IIRC. Here's a shot of it
taken from Norway...

Orion standing just above the horizon and the Pleiades in sharp focus
make the perfect backdrop.

The photos above were part of a package organised to see the Northern
Lights (not to see Mira ;-) ). A number of trip images including those
