Default JPL Horizons

Hi guys. I've been pointed in the direction of the JPL Horizons web
interface site to verify some observational positions of asteroids I've
derived using a software package. Sadly I only know the basics about it
and would like to learn more.

How accurate is the ephemerisis system (ie. 0.2 arc seconds? 3 arc
seconds?) in giving the true RA and Dec for asteroids?

Why should I be using it in the first place? Does i thave any other
useful features?

Kind Regards,

Matt

Also try the Lowell Obs Asteriod Tracker at:

http://asteroid.lowell.edu/cgi-bin/koehn/astplot

It has an option to plot positions with sigma one and sigma three
accuracy.
