Sounds reasonable, even though the Tak.LEs here and there are claimed
to be long-eye-reliefers even at the low end of the focal lengths. John "Ed T" skrev i en meddelelse k.net... John, I think the Ultimas are 5 element oculars that are Masuyama clones. They are made in Japan. The Ultimas have been discontinued (Japanese eyepieces are expensive). I think the Takahashi LEs are the same (except the ED and Hi LE models). Orion's Ultrascopics are the same, one of the Baader lines, the Parks Gold series, etc. Ed "Beaming" wrote in message ... They are not much around in stores nowadays, those premium Celestron Ultimas eyepieces.... And if, then they are not being shipped outside the US.... Do know you of a online store, having these in stock and shipping them over the water ? Regards John |
