Apparently not. He ignored me for about six months starting this
winter, but then began playing catchup with these massive 200-post
digest screeds. He eventually put every single post I made to
sci.astro during this period into a digest.

Nope, never. I assume it is because he doesn't want his kookery
exposed in front of his peers.

Does he at least make the occassional on-topic post there?

Very, very rarely. His last post was June 13, almost a month ago, and
the last one before then was April 24.

Lucky them. What did rec.music.classical do to deserve his attention?

instead of "alias" when even by his own description he was including
posts
that were not antagonistic.
