Her email address in on her posts so you can try to email her directly if you wish. Do you know of any other organizations like that that help the destitute? They find you easily when they want your donation, but it's so hard to find them when you need help! This is no joke; she is apparently homeless now. No phone. No address. Shelter? She might be able to get back in touch through a computer at the library. Nobody has helped her much. I sent her a few bucks, but couldn't spare much. Her relatives have helped her very little. Her former friends refuse to talk to her. The city sent a social worker, but no actual help. She got some food from a food bank, but that's about it. She needs medical treatment, psychological treatment, food, and shelter. She truly has slipped through the cracks, and seems unable to manage her own afairs effectively anymore. Somebody needs to take her under their wing, but I don't know where she can turn. Thanks for your kind offer, nightbat. Be aware that this is someone's real life we're talking about here, not Usenet fantasy. Double-A |

I've been hoping her inner surviver would kick in, but it really should have kicked in before now.
