Yes but evolution is still being taught , and accurately, by most schools,
as a "theory". Yet some become adamant that anyone who denies the "fact"
of evolution must be insane. Sorry about being off topic, but really, as
if none of you ever are.

Yes I do agree that some of so called "Creation Science" is done by so
some with truly closed minds. Try asking them if they believe in the
possibility of extra terrestrial life. They have some kind of twice dead,
plucked up by the roots, theological seminary taught aversion to such
questions. I, and many other christians do not. There are however many
scientists who are christians who have made valid contributions to science,
and some of their research points decidedly to creation. Even Einstein who
at one point earlier in his life is said to have espoused an atheistic point
of view, later is also said to have believed that he mathematically proved
the existence of God.
Also I would like to point out that those who have dedicated them selves
to various sciences have throughout history have sometimes missed the
obvious. This is common to almost all human endeavors. I happen to believe
that truth comes by insiration, athough this is often in the proccess of
much hard work and research.
But then, since God already has these answers, I think that at least talking
to God about the things that matter to us might give us a bit of an edge on
the discovery of these truths.
But "OH NOO" I actually mentioned "God", how silly, and what nerve I
have to include our creator in a dicussion of science. God did give us
minds, and also free wills, it is up to us in what manner we choose to use
them. If we will acknowedge Him in all our ways, He will direct our paths.
Yours Bill.
By the way this is a message about science in general, which includes
astromomy, please have the sense not to tell me how awful I Iam to post
about this. If you must, then also remove from your links all the family
pictures, and the standing in front of buildings, and such, as that is "off
topic" as well.
