Default Whats the story with Terrestrial Planet Finder?

Some sources say TPF has been postponed indefinetly, while others make it
sound like it is still on track?

Has it been on the far back burner because of the this new Moon/Mars wet
dream?

TPF was finally some really cool science, but I guess someone making their
footprints on Martian soil is more important? Which will happen, by when,
2030 -- if ever?

I've read about how studying the climate on Mars will better our
understanding of our own climate, but quite frankly -- its boring! Humans
walking on Mars will be a pretty cool human achievement (it should be
international), but I bet the summit at the peak (what it boils down to) for
many people, myself included, will be when someone takes samples from below
the Martian surface and puts it under a microscope -- looking for past or
present signs of "you-know-what".

TPF had promise of indirectly finding "you-know-what", decades before anyone
steps foot on Mars.

Instead, I guess its just another couple decades of stupid "conspiracy
theories". (Like how people turn the little ice and dust particles floating
off the shuttle in orbit until something it isn't!)
